AMERY, WI -- Johnson Ford of New Richmond, hosted a Drive 4 UR Community event during the Annual Amery Spring Expo hosted by the Amery Free Press. This activity during the expo was designed to raise funds for the local Amery Area Food Pantry located in Amery, WI.
During this event, Johnson Ford of New Richmond provided vehicles to be test-driven around the community. For every test drive, $20s was donated to the Amery Area Food Pantry. Johnson Ford also featured a bean bag toss and a prize wheel. Prizes included countless WORKS oil changes, t-shirts, can coozies, tote bags, pens, and calendars.
Representatives from Johnson Ford of New Richmond ran the booth. During the event, Delaney Pearce, Customer Care Representative, said, "I love watching the kids faces in anticipation spinning the wheel and their excitement when they were climbing all over the 2017 F-150 and the 2017 Explorer."
After the fundraiser was completed, Johnson Ford of New Richmond counted all the registration forms. There were 106 test drives taken during the Amery Spring Expo. The test drives allowed Johnson Ford of New Richmond to donate $2,120 for the Amery Area Food Pantry.
"Thank you so much for picking our organization to support during this event. It is nice to see a local business support non profits. This donation will greatly impact our community. This will be greatly appreciated!" -Cheryl, Amery Area Food Pantry, Board Member.
Johnson Ford of New Richmond would like to thank everyone from the Amery and the surrounding communities along with their employees for taking the time out of their day to participate in this event.
